Justification
A range-restricted (EOO 3028 km²), but locally common species, estimated to occur at between 10 and 15 locations, and declining due to habitat loss to coastal development and competition from alien invasive plants.

Description
Limestone outcrops, steep rocky slopes, ridges and cliffs, sometimes in rocky crevices, never more than 200 m above sea level.
Threats
Threatened by competition from dense, unmanaged infestations of alien invasive plants across its range. Subpopulations near the coast are declining due to habitat loss to coastal development.

This species is locally common within suitable habitat.
