Justification | This species has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 1145 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 40 km². It is known from eight subpopulations and has no severe threats. It is therefore not suspected to be in danger of extinction, and is listed as Least Concern. |

Population |
It occurs in large subpopulations in suitable habitat (P. Goldblatt pers. comm.). The population is not suspected to be declining.
