This montane species has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 3156 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 64 km². It is known from at least 15 subpopulations, and is not threatened. It is therefore listed as Least Concern.

Description
It grows at middle to upper elevations, usually in damp, sometimes marshy sites and flowers in summer.
