This species is widespread, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 20 245 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 132 km². The population has a stable trend, and is not in danger of extinction. It is therefore listed as Least Concern.

Description
It occurs on shadysouth-facing slopes, cliffs and damp rocks, often in moss pads.
Threats
This species has lost habitat to crop cultivation. However, it is not in danger of extinction and remains common, especially on mountain slopes.
