Justification | Hereroa willowmorensis is a poorly known species, last recorded in 1950. It is possibly insufficiently distinct from other Hereroa species, as the genus is taxonomically problematic, making it difficult to identify specimens with certainty. Further taxonomic study is urgently needed, and until resolved, this species' risk of extinction cannot be assessed. It is listed as Data Deficient. |
