Threats |
| This species has lost habitat to timber plantations and crop cultivation in the past, and is currently threatened mainly by competition from alien invasive plants and habitat degradation due to overgrazing. |
Population |
This species is known from only a few, widely scattered records, and was last recorded in 1986. At two localities known through historical records, it is possibly already locally extinct due to habitat loss. Survey efforts are needed to relocate this species in the wild. A continuing population decline is inferred from ongoing habitat loss and degradation.
