Justification
EOO <4200 km², a sandveld species known from less than 10 locations. This species habitat has been severely transformed by wheat and potato cultivation. Over 70% of its habitat has been lost over the past 100 years. Loss in the northern parts of its range to potato cultivation is continuing.
