Justification
EOO 15 km², three locations are known, but there are likely to be more in poorly explored areas of the range. The specialized habitat of this species is prone to erosion and overgrazing and trampling by livestock is likely to be causing a continuing decline.

Description
Open succulent vegetation in loamy soils with some quartzite pebbles in quartz gannaveld.
Threats
This species' habitat is highly prone to erosion and over grazing and trampling by livestock is a serious, ongoing threat.
