Justification | Known from two collections, it has not been recorded for over 100 years. Not enough is known about the current status of the population to assess this species however subpopulations are likely to be threatened by crop cultivation and alien plant invasion. |

Two known collections; one from Lamkraal, about 10km due east of the Brandewyn river, on the Pakhuis to Calvinia road, and the other from Jan Dissel's river, possibly not far from Clanwilliam. (Hilliard 1994). |
