Justification
Selago tenuis is a rare and very poorly known species that has been collected twice. It is possibly rare and overlooked, but may also be threatened outside of protected areas. Current data suggests that it may be a range-restricted endemic, but the size, extent and current trend of the population is not known. Therefore, its risk of extinction cannot be assessed at present.
