Justification | Selago bolusii is an endemic to the Great Escarpment Mountains of the Eastern Cape, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 16 156 km². It is known from at least 15 subpopulations and likely to be under collected, this species has no recorded threats. It is therefore listed as Least Concern. |

This species was regularly recorded during the Great Escarpment Biodiversity Project that surveyed all mountains within its range between 2005 and 2015.
