Justification | EOO <600 km², known from three locations: Caledon Swartberg, Shaw's Pass and Nachwacht farm near Bredasdorp. The Nachwacht subpopulation has probably been lost to crop cultivation. The remaining locations are both severely threatened by alien plant invasion and the Caledon subpopulation is potentially threatened by urban expansion. |

Threats |
Most of this species' habitat has already been transformed for wheat cultivation and only a few small fragments remain. Remaining subpopulations continue to decline due to ongoing habitat loss to crop cultivation and urban expansion and competition from alien invasive plants. |
