Justification | Hebenstretia ramosissima is a widespread and easily overlooked annual. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 11 622 km². In spite of extensive habitat loss and degradation across its range, it is not suspected to be in danger of extinction, and is therefore listed as Least Concern. |

Much of this species' habitat has been lost to urban expansion and crop cultivation, and loss continues. It is however resilient to disturbance, and is able to recolonise sites such as old lands. |
