Justification | Zaluzianskya marlothii is a Roggeveld endemic known only from one location. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 8.5 km². This species has lost habitat to crop cultivation and the remaining habitat is experiencing ongoing degradation as a result of livestock overgrazing and drought. It therefore qualifies as Critically Endangered under criterion B1ab(iii)+2ab(iii). |

Threats |
There has been extensive transformation at the only known location for cereal cultivation. Remaining areas of renosterveld are threatened by livestock grazing and increasing frequency of drought as a result of climate change. |
Population |
There is no information available about the size of the population, there have only been two collections of Zaluzianskya marlothii: one in 1930 and again in 1998.
