Justification
Zaluzianskya marlothii is a Roggeveld endemic known only from one location. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 8.5 km². This species has lost habitat to crop cultivation and the remaining habitat is experiencing ongoing degradation as a result of livestock overgrazing and drought. It therefore qualifies as Critically Endangered under criterion B1ab(iii)+2ab(iii).

This species in endemic to South Africa, and is found in Uitkyk and Sneeukrans in the Roggeveld.

Description
It occurs in high altitude arid slopes in mountain renosterveld.
Threats
There has been extensive transformation at the only known location for cereal cultivation. Remaining areas of renosterveld are threatened by livestock grazing and increasing frequency of drought as a result of climate change.
Population

There is no information available about the size of the population, there have only been two collections of Zaluzianskya marlothii: one in 1930 and again in 1998.
