Nemesia deflexa is widespread with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 14 710 km². It is not in danger of extinction, and is therefore listed as Least Concern.

Range
This species is endemic to South Africa, and is found in the mountains along the northern border of the Little Karoo, from Touwsberg to the Kouga Mountains and Baviaanskloof. It is also found around Tradouw's Pass in the Langeberg and the Outeniqua Mountains near George.

Description
