Justification
Diascia ramosa is known from a single location where it is threatened by competition from alien invasive plants. Its extent of occurrence (EOO) and area of occupancy (AOO) are both estimated to be smaller than 10 km². It is therefore listed as Critically Endangered under criterion B.

Description
It occurs in grassland on mountain slopes and summits.
Threats
Diascia ramosa is under threat from alien invasive plants. Invasive plants are spreading across the southern slopes and summit of the Boschberg, and are outcompeting native species.
Population

This species is known from a single location, where it was last recorded in 1994. The current size and status of the population is not known, but it is assumed to be declining, due to ongoing habitat loss and degradation. Field surveys are needed to obtain better information on the population of this species.
