Description
Slopes or flats in loose alluvial sands derived from Table Mountain Sandstone.
Threats
Severely threatened by crop cultivation throughout its range, the majority of subpopulations have been found on road verges and on the edges of cultivated fields. In addition, habitat fragmentation affects fire frequency, which may negatively impact this species which relies on fires to stimulate flowering.
