Threats |
Soil erosion has been reported at Doringkloof, this site has a huge donga that runs below the subpopulation which remains a potential threat. No decline has been observed yet (J. Vlok, 2006). Trampling by livestock especially at Springfontein is a potential threat, however no decline has been observed yet (J. Vlok). This species is not yet collected.
The property where this species occurs is now being sought by a game farmer. There is no sound future for these plants (J. Vlok, pers. comm. 2023). |
