Threats |
Large sections of this subspecies' habitat is well-protected within formal protected areas as well as an extensive network of private game farms, with less than 20% currently irreversibly modified. Some communally owned areas in the Venda area are severely overgrazed and degraded, but this affects only a small proportion of this species' range. |
