Justification
This species was described by N.E. Brown in 1925. Neither the collector nor locality are known and the specimen (or a representation of it) is not available. The description, which lacks any details of the flower (although later A. Tischer describes it as red - or pink), is considered to be incomplete. Previously it has been separately associated with the infra-generic sections Wettsteinia and Saxetana. With no further information, the uncertainty over this taxon makes Data Deficient the most appropriate category.
