Pentameris macrocalycina is a widespread and common species that is not in danger of extinction. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 91 979 km², and is listed as Least Concern.

Description
It occurs in middle to upper sandstone slopes.
Threats
There are no known threats to Pentameris macrocalycina.
