Justification
A range-restricted (EOO 757 km²), but locally fairly common species that is not in danger of extinction.

Description
Shale flats, often on shallow soils overlaying rocks.
Threats
There are no known severe threats to this species. Parts of its range is degraded due to overgrazing, but this does not appear to have negatively impacted the population.

This species is fairly common in suitable habitat around Sutherland. It is known from at least 10 subpopulations.
