Description
It is found mainly on rocky sandstone slopes and flats in montane grasslands, up to 700 m.
Threats
This species has lost its habitat to coastal development at East London and Port Elizabeth in the past. Some parts of this species' habitat were lost to agriculture expansion. The quality of habitat is declining due to invasion by alien plants and inappropiate management of land.
