Range
This species occurs in the Limpopo and Mpumalanga Lowveld and foothills of the escarpment, extending southwards through eSwatini (Swaziland) to the southern end of the Lebombo Mountains in KwaZulu-Natal. It is widespread north of South Africa to tropical Africa.
