N.A. Helme, J.S. Boatwright & D. Raimondo
Justification
This species has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 2119 km² and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 56 km². Eleven locations are known, but there are likely to be more as this species is common in the area north of the Olifants River Mouth. Around 5% of the habitat is currently transformed by heavy mineral sand mining and decline is continuing. It therefore qualifies for listing as Near Threatened under criterion B.
