Justification
This restricted range species has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 208 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 16 km². It is known from only three subpopulations, however, it is not under threat. It is therefore listed nationally as Rare but qualifies for listing as Least Concern under the IUCN 3.1 categories.

Range
It is restricted to the northern Drakensberg of Free State and KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, and probably also in northern Lesotho.

Threats to this species are unknown.
