Description
This species occurs on moist clay flats along water courses.
Threats
A small proportion (2.5%) of clay flats within this species' known range was historically ploughed for crop cultivation. There has however been no expansion of crop fields over 24 years (1990-2014) as the area is only marginally suited to crop cultivation. Recent field observations noted no severe threats to this species (N.A. Helme 2009).
Population

This is an uncommon species localized to seasonally damp places. It is known from only three subpopulations. As it has no severe threats, the population is not suspected to be declining.
