Justification
This range restricted habitat specialist has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 217 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 20 km². It is known from three locations between Quoin Point and Cape Agulhas, and is declining due to encroachment from invasive alien acacias. It is therefore listed as Endangered under criterion B.

Range
It is a rare endemic of South Africa, restricted to the western coast of the Agulhas Peninsula in Western Cape. It has been recorded from Ratelrivier to Brandfontein.

Description
It occurs in wet depressions on coastal limestone flats.
Threats
The habitat of this species, seasonally wet areas, is especially under threat from Acacia invasion.
Population

It is known from three locations and the population is inferred to be decreasing due to competition from invasive alien species in its habitat.
