Justification
A habitat specialist, known from less than 10 sites, this species has no recorded threats. It is therefore listed nationally as Rare but qualifies for listing as Least Concern under the IUCN 3.1 categories.

It is endemic to South Africa, and is found in Mpumalanga and Limpopo along the Eastern Escarpment.

Description
It occurs in damp moss between rock crevices on steep rocks and cliffs, around 1600 m.
Threats
There are no known threats to this species.
Population

It is known from nine locations. It was recorded as locally common in 1969,and found in one small patch in 1994. Its most recent record in 2013 observed between 1-50 individuals in the Wolkberg Wilderness area. The population is inferred to be decreasing.
