Justification
This species has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 19 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 12 km². It is known from two locations. It occurs in a remote and botanically very poorly explored part of South Africa. The area is heavily impacted by diamond mining, with 66% of the habitat being disturbed. It is therefore listed as Endangered under criterion B.
Distribution

Threats
About 66% of this species' very restricted habitat has already been heavily degraded (calculated using landcover data in GIS) by diamond mining which started in the 1950's, and habitat loss and degradation is ongoing. Since 2015, the building of renewable energy infrastructure in the form of wind farms has been and continues to contribute to ongoing loss of habitat.
Population

This species is known from two locations, and has two known subpopulations. There is no indication of population size from any of the records.
