Justification
A population of this species is known from four sites within a restricted range and has an extent of occurrence (EOO) and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 20 km². While it is not threatened, as it occurs in non-arable habitats and qualifies under the IUCN categories as Least Concern, it is listed nationally as Rare due to its restricted range.

Description
It occurs in shady crevices in sandstone outcrops.
Threats
This species has not lost any habitat as it has no threats. It occurs in a non-arable habitat.
Population

The population is restricted to one small area around the Pakhuis Pass. Population numbers of this species are not known. An observation from 2008 on iNaturalist noted only 50 plants so this species may occur in low numbers.
