Justification | Babiana spiralis is a very common species that is found between Hondeklipbaai and Kotzesrus and in the hills around Garies. Land transformation in the area is very low and there are no major threats to this species. It is therefore listed as Least Concern. |

Range | This species is endemic to South Africa, and is found in the Northern and Western Cape provinces, from Garies and Hondeklipbaai in Namaqualand to Trawal and the Nardouw foothills in the Olifants River valley. |
