Justification
This is a range-restricted Roggeveld endemic with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 541 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 20 km². It is not threatened or declining. It therefore qualifies under the IUCN categories as Least Concern; however, as it has a restricted range, it is listed nationally as Rare.

Range
It is endemic to South Africa where it is found in the Roggeveld Escarpment in the Northern Cape, extending from near Middelpos southward to Matjiesfontein in the Western Cape.

Description
It occurs in dolerite rock outcrops, wedged in rock cracks.
Threats
There are no known severe threats to this species.
