This species is widespread and has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 10 571 km² and an area of occupancy of 184 km. It is known from more than 30 subpopulations and has no severe threats. It is therefore assessed as Least Concern.

This species is known from more than 30 subpopulations and has had 66 observations posted on the iNaturalist platform between 2012 and 2023 from across its known range. From this we can infer that the population is common, stable and not declining.
