Justification | This subspecies is a Richtersveld endemic, known from three locations. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 647 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 36 km². It is declining due to overgrazing and trampling, and is therefore listed as Endangered under criteria B. |
