Justification
Syringodea pulchella is a range-restricted species, known from one extensive population. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of less than 50 km². It has lost part of the population to road construction in the past and road construction and livestock overgrazing remain potential threats. It is therefore listed as Vulnerable under criteria D2.

Threats
A small proportion of this species' habitat has been lost to road construction. The remaining population is potentially threatened by further road construction and overgrazing due to overstocking of rangelands.
Population

Syringodea pulchella is known from only one extensive population. There has been no recent surveys of the population and its size is not known.
