Description
Seasonally wet, stony sandstone flats.
Threats
This species generally occurs in rocky montane habitat where it is protected from habitat loss, but subpopulations between Gydo Pass and Prince Alfred Hamlet are threatened by habitat loss to fruit orchards (Goldblatt and Manning 2008).
Population

This species is quite common in the Koue Bokkeveld. Subpopulations on the flats below Gydo Pass are declining, but this affects only a small part of this species' range, which is otherwise well protected montane areas.
