This extremely localized (EOO 74 km²) habitat specialist is known from only five locations and potentially threatened by habitat loss to expanding fruit orchards.

Description
Among rocks on seasonally moist south-facing sandy or clay slopes.
Threats
Subpopulations in the Olifants River Valley occur in areas where the cultivation of citrus and other fruit is currently expanding. This species' preference for rocky areas may provide it with some protection against habitat loss, but it is a potential threat.
