Description
Rocky north-facing slopes, and occasionally south-facing sandstone slopes.
Threats
This species was recorded from the flats south of Villiersdorp in the 1970s, an area now extensively transformed to fruit orchards and vineyards, and this subpopulation is now likely to be extinct. All other records are however from protected montane areas where there are no threats.
Population

This species has been most commonly recorded on the north-facing slopes of the Riviersonderend Mountains around Jonaskop, with isolated records from the Hex River and Langeberg Mountains.
