Threats |
This species occurs in an area that is more than 80% modified for crop fields, and only small remnants of natural vegetation remains. This species is likely to have lost habitat to crop cultivation in the past, and the two remaining subpopulations are threatened by habitat degradation due to overgrazing, competition from alien invasive plants, and inappropriate fire management. |
Population |
This species is only known from two small remnants of natural vegetation, one less than one hectare in size, the other about 70 hectares, about 15 km apart. The intervening area is entirely converted to crop fields.
