Justification
A rare, range-restricted Kammanassie Mountains endemic, with an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 68 km², and an area of occupancy (AOO) of 56 km². It has no severe threats and is therefore not suspected to be in danger of extinction. It is listed as Rare nationally and qualifies under IUCN 3.1 criteria as Least Concern.

It is endemic to the Kammanassie Mountains in the eastern Little Karoo in Western Cape, South Africa.

Description
It occurs on middle to upper southern slopes in dry fynbos, flowering mainly after fire.
