Threats
Parts of this species' habitat has been ploughed in the past, and it is likely that subpopulations have been lost. Currently, plants remain at five locations but it appears that habitat loss has ceased. This species however remains potentially threatened by expanding crop cultivation and competition from alien invasive plants, which are present in the area.
