Justification | Romulea syringodeoflora is a range-restricted Roggeveld endemic, known from nine locations and possibly occurring at a few more in unsurveyed parts of its range. It is suspected to occur at less than 15 locations in total. It has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 474 km² and is experiencing ongoing decline of habitat due to crop cultivation as well as habitat degradation as a result of livestock overgrazing. It is listed as Near Threatened based on the criteria B1ab(ii,iii)+2ab(ii,iii). |
