Justification
This Northern Cape endemic species is restricted to two locations and has an area of occupancy (AOO) of 16 km². It is potentially threatened by livestock grazing and trampling. It is therefore listed as Vulnerable under criterion D.

Description
Plants grow along streams in light bush.
Threats
Grazing and trampling by livestock is an occasional threat. Due to this, there was a proposal to include the area occupied by the species in the reserve (CREW 2010). However, the impact of grazing on this taxon remains unknown. One subpopulation in Grootberg was reported to have no evident threats or predation.
