Justification
A range-restricted species (EOO 273 km²), known from three locations and declining due to ongoing habitat loss to urban and agricultural expansion.

Description
Open karroid veld on gravelly loam.
Threats
Threatened by ongoing habitat loss to urban expansion around Worcester. Further east towards Robertson, much of this species' habitat has already been converted to vineyards, and loss to further agricultural expansion continues.
Population

This species is known from only three locations, but Vlok and Schutte-Vlok (2010) suggest that it may be more common, and somewhat tolerant of disturbance. Field surveys are likely to reveal more unrecorded subpopulations.
