Justification | EOO<2700 km², five severely fragmented remaining subpopulations continue to decline due to habitat degradation and expanding crop cultivation. It is also potentially threatened by road widening. |

Threats |
Agriculture (ploughing) is a severe past and ongoing threat. Dumping is another threat to this species, renosterveld is considered uitval grond and is often used for dumping. Road widening is a potential future threat at Piquenierskloof (Greys pass). |
