Justification | Drosanthemum capillare is known from only six collections, scattered over a wide area. Locality descriptions are imprecise and this species' habitat requirements are not known for certain. It was last recorded in 1983. Drosanthemum is in need of taxonomic revision and many species are poorly known and difficult to separate. Until this species can be relocated in the wild and its relationships to other Drosanthemum species clarified, its risk of extinction cannot be assessed. It is listed as Data Deficient. |
