EOO 41 km², AOO <10 km², three locations remain after most of this species' habitat has been transformed by urban expansion. It continues to decline due to ongoing habitat loss to urban development and crop cultivation.

Description
Lower slopes on granites or shales.
Threats
This taxon has lost the majority of its habitat to the urban expansion of the city of Cape Town. Crop cultivation has also resulted in loss of habitat in the Durbanville area.
