EOO 891 km², fewer than five locations remain after most of this species' habitat has been transformed for crop cultivation. Decline due to agriculture and alien plant invasion is continuing.

Description
Seasonally wet flats.
Threats
Most of this species habitat has been transformed for crop cultivation in the past (wheat in the Swartland region and vineyards and orchards in the Olifants River Valley). One of the four known subpopulations is threatened by invasive alien plants.
