Justification | There is taxonomic disagreement around this species. According to L. Dreyer (Oxalis systematist) it is possibly a species occurring on the foothills at the base of the Langeberg and Outeniquas. This species was sunk by Bayer (1992) into O. pardalis. Despite being searched for by L. Dreyer et al, it has not been found. Its taxonomic status thus remains doubtful. |
